Fly Like an Eagle Golf Tournament

The College of Southern Idaho “Lori Rogers Fly Like an Eagle” Golf Tournaments began 13 years ago as a scholarship fundraiser for the CSI Athletic Program.

Two years ago, Team Con Paulos and Subway became corporate sponsors for this event.

The 18 hole 5 person scramble format is a fundraiser that draws on booster support for this morning golf scramble.  This years golf tournament was held at the municipal golf course. We had 26 golf teams and raised our goal to support athletic scholarships in all of our sport programs.

Con Paulos and Subway’s involvement added golf teams and has helped to make the event a success.

This is the first year that the Lori Rogers name was added to the golf tournament title.  This request by our Women’s Basketball coach, Randy Rogers, was put in place to honor the memory of his wife. The CSI family lost Lori Rogers three years ago.

Lori was instrumental in helping out with the golf tournament in the past.  This year’s golf tournament was highlighted by having the four Rogers daughters hit a ceremonial first drive in honor of their mother.

Con Paulos and his daughter Nicole were once again a part of this golf tournament and competed for Team Con Paulos.
